It is important to know our identity in Christ. Through salvation, we positionally inherit many blessings and privileges. When we base our identity on how scripture defines us, we are not subject to the fickleness of man.
Scripture is never changing. Who we are in Christ is a separate matter from how we behave in our flesh (OSN). This is exactly why we say – God loves the sinner but hates the sin.
